All Dress Code items, will be available through the Lands' End Catalog or Educational Outfitters.

Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten
For these students, we recommend washable play clothes and clothes that the children can easily handle. We recommend tennis or lace-up shoes for playground activities. Nametags should be in all removable clothing. Please provide extra clothing in the event of an accident. Place clothing in a zip lock bag with your child's name labeled on it.
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
While the school community recognizes that dress is a mode of self-expression, it also knows that it can provide a field for unhealthy competition in fashion, expense, and distraction within the educational environment. It is important and healthy for students to maintain a clean, neat appearance at all times. It is with these facts in mind that a specific dress code has been designed. The dress code provides for a variety of options and should be easy to understand and follow.

Slacks:
Navy blue or khaki

Skirts or Jumpers:
Navy blue or khaki, Lands' End Hunter / Classic Navy Plaid

Walking Shorts or Skorts:
Navy blue, gray, or khaki (no more than 3 inches above the knee)

Shirts:
*Oxford Cloth solid colors only (white, blue, yellow)
*Polo style (long or short sleeve) -solid colors only (navy,
white,yellow, or red)
* Turtleneck or Mock turtleneck- solid colors only (navy, white, yellow, or red)

Sweaters / Sweatshirts:
Solid colors only (Navy, white, yellow, or red)
*To be worn with shirt, blouse, or turtleneck underneath with collar on the outside.

Shoes:
Tennis shoes are allowed for students in all grades, solid colors are preferred. A sturdy-type shoe, such as oxford or loafer, is permissible. All shoes must be closed at the toe, heel, and sides. (Sandals are not suitable for the playground.)

Socks and Stockings:
Color choice: navy or white. Girls may also choose to wear knee socks or tights in navy or white.

Belts:
Required when pants have belt loops and when belt loops are visible. Must be solid black or brown.

Hair Accessories:
Red, White, navy, or Thackston plaid

Announced Spirit Days:
On Spirit Days students may wear clothing that promotes Thackston Spirit. Blue jeans may be worn with any Thackston logo shirt. Jeans must be well fitting and neat (no low-rider, oversized, etc.)
*** Appropriate dress code requires that all clothing be neat, clean, and fit properly. Clothing items must not be frayed, torn, or badly faded.
